I am Teacher Stacey, co-owner and teacher at Creekside Junior Academy. I am a full-time mom and part-time preschool teacher. I hold a current elementary teaching certificate in Oregon, and previously taught kindergarten and ESL in an elementary school. I discovered the joy of teaching preschool when I was searching for the ideal early learning environment for my own son and happened to meet Jen Morse. Now in our eleventh year, I am immensely proud of our preschool and am constantly rewarded by the time spent laughing, playing, and learning with the preschoolers. I strive to bring patience, wisdom, and humor to my teaching and try to help children have a first-time school experience that is warm, respectful, and loving. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys gardening, traveling, and playing.
Hi, my name is Jennifer Morse, AKA, "Teacher Jen." I am part owner and the afternoon teacher at CJA. This is my 10th year at Creekside. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Services. Although I am qualified to work with much older children, I have found that early childhood is my passion. Preschool is such a wonderful place to be. Kids at this age have such a natural curiosity and insatiable desire to learn. I enjoy spending time with them, doing hands on projects and getting downright messy! I also really enjoy teaching children to read for the first time.
When I'm not at Creekside, you can find me teaching horse riding lessons and riding my horse. My hobbies include gardening, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
Teacher Jessica, assistant teacher in both morning and afternoon classes, brings her extensive art skills to the preschool setting, where she mixes her love of music, children, and art to foster creativity and self-expression in children. She is in her third year as assitant at Creekside Junior Academy. She also teaches the Junior Explorer classes on Fridays, where children from ages 18 months can sing, dance, create art, and experience sensory play. Teacher Jessica is also the owner of a local art studio, Art Frenzy, where she creates art and teacher a variety of classes to both children and adults.
