While nothing can take the place of in-classroom instruction, we feel it is important to maintain close contact with our school community while providing students with meaningful educational opportunities to help them stay connected to the school, environments, and routines.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Full Access to our Private Virtual Classroom
We have created a fun and engaging animated virtual classroom featuring multiple links to corresponding videos, music and instruction. New links will be added to our virtual classroom three times per week and may be accessed at your convenience as often as you wish. Creekside Distance Learning is mirrored after our in-person curriculum with all the components of our normal school day. Videos are a combination of instruction by our CJA teachers and/or related YouTube videos.

Distance Learning Take-Home Materials
The distance learning package will include tangible packets of materials sent home twice per month.

Extension ideas to enhance the curriculum at home

Meet and Greet Sessions for New Students
For our new students, teachers will schedule meet and greets during the last week of August. Students can tour their future classrooms, meet their teachers, and participate in brief assessments to make sure we are ready to meet their needs through distance learning and when our doors open.
ZOOM Social Activities
The distance learning package will include occasional Zoom activities with other students from the Creekside Virtual Academy. The type of meetings will depend on the number of registered students. For example, students may attend a Zoom dance party, group Bingo game or virtual playgroup with other CJA students.
Parent Involvement
Each activity is planned so that parents can partner with their child or it can be done independently so that parents can work from home, home-school siblings, take care of tasks, or enjoy a few moments to themselves.
TUITION AND FEE POLICIES
Monthly Tuition
Monthly tuition for the Creekside Virtual Academy is $75. The option will continue to be available for those who may not want to return the the classroom when schools reopen. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
Sibling Discount
Tuition for a second child in the immediate family will be offered at the reduced rate of $37.50 per month.
Late Fees
Tuition is due the first day of each month. A $20.00 late fee will be added if tuition is not paid by the 7th of each month. Tuition that is paid consistently late will result in dismissal from the program. Tuition payments may be dropped off at the school in our designated lock box or mail to:

Other Charges
There will be a $35 fee on all returned checks.
Termination and Withdrawal
Termination provisions are reciprocal. Both Creekside Junior Academy and parent/guardian have the right to terminate this agreement upon 2-week written notice. Full tuition is due for the notice period, whether or not your child/ren particpates in our virtual program.
